European Chemicals Legislation. REACH is the Regulation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals which has been in force since June 2007. Since that date, all products which are sold on the European market must be produced in compliance with REACH. The REACH regulation aims to respond rapidly and at global level when harmful substances are detected.
